Qatar and India Explore Strengthening Economic and Investment Partnerships

Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, recently met with India’s Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, to discuss enhancing economic relations between the two nations. The discussions, which took place during Sitharaman’s visit to India, centered on expanding trade and investment cooperation.

During the meeting, both ministers explored potential avenues to strengthen ties by developing new partnerships between Qatari and Indian companies and investors. They emphasized the importance of leveraging available business and investment opportunities to bolster economic collaboration.

The dialogue also covered various issues of mutual interest, aiming to further promote and solidify economic relations between Qatar and India. The ministers’ discussions reflect a mutual commitment to fostering a stronger economic partnership.
