Qatar PM Urges Global Cooperation to Uphold Gaza Ceasefire

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss the ongoing situation in Gaza and ways to reinforce the recent truce agreement.
During the discussion, both leaders highlighted the strength of Qatar–US strategic relations and explored means to enhance bilateral cooperation amid the evolving regional landscape. The talks focused on ensuring that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is fully implemented and sustained.
Sheikh Mohammed underscored the need for unified regional and international efforts to guarantee the truce’s success and to pave the way for lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
