Qatar Reaffirms Support for Peaceful Resolution of Russia-Ukraine Crisis

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met with senior Ukrainian officials on Tuesday to discuss bilateral cooperation and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Attending the talks were Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, and Rustem Umero, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
The discussions focused on strengthening ties between Qatar and Ukraine, as well as exploring ways to achieve a peaceful settlement to the Russia-Ukraine crisis. Sheikh Mohammed underscored Qatar’s commitment to supporting all international efforts aimed at resolving the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.
The Ukrainian officials expressed deep appreciation for Qatar’s humanitarian and diplomatic initiatives, particularly its role in reuniting Ukrainian children with their families. They also praised Qatar’s constructive contributions to peacebuilding efforts both in Ukraine and globally.
