Qatar–France Economic Partnership Strengthens as Qadran Marks 10 Years

Date:

Qatar–France economic relations gained fresh momentum as the Qatar–France Economic Association (Qadran) celebrated its 10th anniversary at a special ceremony in Paris. Hosted by the Ambassador of Qatar to France, HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani, the event marked a decade of expanding bilateral cooperation, strategic partnerships, and growing business engagement between the two countries.
Founded in 2015, Qadran has evolved into an important platform for dialogue between Qatari and French business communities. In his address, Sheikh Ali highlighted that the association was established to encourage sustainable partnerships based on trust, mutual respect, and shared economic interests. Over the years, Qadran has supported cooperation across sectors, including energy, sustainability, and projects aligned with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.
The ambassador noted that Qadran’s field visits across different regions of France have played a key role in opening new opportunities for joint ventures and commercial collaboration. He emphasised that strong institutions such as Qadran are essential for long-term economic cooperation, particularly at a time of global economic uncertainty.
Qadran President Natalie Demol and founding member Bruno Courtin said the association has successfully connected large corporations with small and medium-sized enterprises, helping to boost bilateral trade and investment. Senior representatives from strategic partner companies also underlined the value of long-term cooperation in advancing innovation, energy transition efforts, and industrial collaboration.
The anniversary event concluded with a shared commitment from members and partners to further strengthen Qatar–France economic ties and expand cooperation in the coming decade.
