Qatar PM Reaffirms Support for De-escalation in Call with Iranian Foreign Minister

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, held a telephone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
During the call, both sides reviewed cooperation between Qatar and Iran and explored ways to further strengthen ties. They also exchanged views on recent regional developments and other matters of shared interest.
The Qatari Prime Minister reaffirmed Qatar’s firm support for efforts aimed at de-escalation and peaceful dialogue, stressing the importance of initiatives that promote security and stability across the region.
