Qatar, Kazakhstan Strengthen Ties in Digital Transformation and AI Cooperation

Qatar’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, met with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister Galymzhan Koishybayev on Wednesday to discuss expanding cooperation in digital transformation, advanced technologies, and artificial intelligence.
The meeting, held during the Second World Summit for Social Development in Qatar, focused on exploring strategic partnerships aimed at boosting innovation and digital growth in both countries. Officials highlighted the importance of collaboration in developing smart solutions, data infrastructure, and AI-driven services that can enhance public and private sector efficiency.
Senior officials from both nations attended the talks, including Ahmad Abdulla AlMuslemani, president of Qatar’s Communications Regulatory Authority, and Sami Al Shammari, assistant undersecretary for Infrastructure and Operations Affairs. The Kazakh delegation included Alibek Kuantyrov, deputy foreign minister; Doszhan Mussaliyev, vice-minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development; and Arman Issagaliyev, Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Qatar.
The discussions underscored the shared goal of advancing digital innovation and establishing long-term collaboration in emerging technologies between Qatar and Kazakhstan.
