Qatar Reaffirms Commitment to Mediation and Global Peace Initiatives

Qatar has reaffirmed its dedication to serving as a trusted mediator in international conflicts. Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, emphasized that Qatar will continue promoting dialogue, mediation, and preventive diplomacy to support sustainable peace and the aspirations of nations for security and development.
Speaking at the Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia during a session titled “Sustaining Peace In A Shifting Global Order,” Dr. Al Khulaifi outlined the core principles of effective mediation. These include neutrality, building trust, engaging with all parties, humanitarian motivation, and the exercise of patience and perseverance to achieve lasting solutions.
Qatar’s stance reflects its ongoing commitment to fostering cooperation and stability on the global stage, positioning itself as a reliable partner in resolving international disputes.
