Sheikh Tamim Meets Italian PM Giorgia Meloni in New York to Discuss Gaza Crisis and Bilateral Ties

Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in New York on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly session. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and friendship between Qatar and Italy across multiple fields.
The two leaders also exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues, with particular attention to the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip. Prime Minister Meloni expressed Italy’s solidarity with Qatar and condemned the Israeli attacks as a clear violation of international law.
The discussions underscored both nations’ commitment to enhancing bilateral relations while coordinating on urgent global challenges.
