Marriott Vacation Clubs™ Expands Footprint in Asia Pacific with New Thailand Resort and Bali Growth

Date:

ORLANDO, Florida – Marriott Vacation Clubs™ is making a bold move in Asia Pacific with the debut of Marriott Vacation Club, Khao Lak Beach Resort in Thailand this August.

The launch is part of a regional expansion that includes new accommodations in Bali and a larger marketing presence in Shanghai. The Thailand resort will transform 52 Family Suites into modern, two-bedroom vacation apartments featuring Southern Thai-inspired design, eco-friendly initiatives like reusable glass water bottles and bamboo key cards, and access to JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa’s world-class amenities—including the region’s largest lagoon pool and 11 restaurants.

“Demand for vacation ownership is surging,” said John Geller, President and CEO of Marriott Vacations Worldwide. “We’re investing heavily to provide unforgettable experiences across Asia Pacific.”

The Bali projects include 32 new apartments and the launch of Marriott’s Enclave at Bali Nusa Dua Terrace, offering private plunge pools, a dedicated kids’ club, and access to shared amenities at Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort.

Shanghai’s call center will also grow to support more travelers, adding 45 team members to deliver localized marketing and engagement.
