Qatar and Sudan Leaders Discuss Regional Stability and Bilateral Ties

The Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, met with Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council Chairman, Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between Qatar and Sudan across various sectors, as well as addressing key regional and global developments. Both leaders emphasized their commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region, particularly in light of recent tensions in the Middle East and ongoing challenges in Sudan.
Lieutenant-General Al Burhan reaffirmed Sudan’s solidarity with Qatar, expressing support for Qatar’s sovereignty and efforts to safeguard its territorial integrity. He praised Qatar’s initiatives aimed at fostering regional peace and stability. In response, HH the Amir expressed appreciation for Sudan’s supportive stance and fraternal relations between the two nations.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from both countries, including Qatar’s Chief of the Amiri Diwan, HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and Sudanese Foreign Minister Muhi Al Din Salem, underscoring the importance of continued dialogue and collaboration.
