Qatar Prime Minister Meets French Foreign Minister on Bilateral and Regional Issues

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, met with France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2026.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Qatar and France and exploring ways to further enhance relations across key areas of mutual interest. Both sides also exchanged views on major regional developments, including the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
Discussions additionally covered developments in Iran, Syria, and Lebanon, reflecting shared concerns over regional stability and security. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of continued dialogue and coordination between Qatar and France on regional and international issues.
