Qatari Amir, Ukrainian President Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

His Highness the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, held a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.
The leaders also exchanged views on regional developments and the ongoing situation in Ukraine. President Zelensky thanked Qatar for its efforts in reuniting Ukrainian children with their families, highlighting the humanitarian role played by Doha.
He further expressed Ukraine’s solidarity with Qatar in the face of the ongoing Israeli attacks. In response, the Amir thanked the Ukrainian president for his support and reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to regional stability and humanitarian initiatives.
