Qatar and Belgium Leaders Strengthen Partnership During Doha Summit

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with King Philippe of Belgium in Doha on Monday to discuss expanding cooperation between the two nations. The meeting took place ahead of the Second World Summit for Social Development, which begins Tuesday.
During their discussions, the Amir welcomed King Philippe and highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral ties across trade, investment, and social development. He expressed Qatar’s commitment to deepening collaboration for the mutual benefit of both countries.
King Philippe thanked the Amir for his invitation and warm hospitality, affirming Belgium’s desire to enhance friendship and cooperation with Qatar. The two leaders also exchanged views on key regional and global issues, emphasizing their shared commitment to peace and sustainable development.
